Course description: Software process: standard ISO-12207, Development process, Software Metrics, Software Quality, Testing, Software Maintenance: maintenance types, maintenance process; Reverse engineering, Software Configuration Management basic concepts, Software costs.
Course aims: To describe the main problems about the organization, the methods and the techniques to manage a software system. To provide the students with the knowledge to understand and tackle the tasks for operating with, assessing the quality of, managing the configuration of, maintaining and evolving a sofware system.
Teaching method: Lectures, supported by transparencies and slides; drill lessons with the support of tutors.
Prerequisities: Techniques for Software development.
