conceptual and practical
significance of his work, and the high level of presentation’.
The
Latmiral Award
winners for the best poster paper
were Fabio Baronio and
Matteo Conforti, co-authors
of Observation of Optical Beams Anni
hilation (POST34), for their ‘remarkable theoretical and experimental
work aimed at demon-
strating the possible existence of non-diffractive solitonic regimes
in nonlinear resonant
three-wave interaction’.
The
Sannino Award winner
was Gennaro Bellizzi, author of On the Feasibility
of Using Magnetic Nanoparticles and
Rotating Magnetic Fields for Activation and Control of Nanomachines
(MMAT1), for ‘the
innovative character, elegant formalization and passionate
presentation of his work’.
The Latmiral award, bestowed for the first time was generously granted by
E4-Engineering.
